With a private BOFA Work Day on January 1st at the Belfast Town Hall from 10-4. Participants finished two quilts in progress and complete a top for another one and enjoyed a chicken provencal, ham and sandwiches, tossed salad, and desserts.
Now we are jumping right in to sending out invitations and announcement about upcoming SWAN Days Activities
March 29th 1-4pm ~BOFA will be participating in SWAN Days 2018 with a UFO Day at the Belfast Town Hall.
This week I enjoyed a wonderful visit at the David A. Howe Library with a chance to see the current exhibit featuring artwork by Tracy Hetzel of Wellsville.
"During the day on Wednesday, family and friends of Tracy Hetzel will be hanging her latest show in the Exhibition Room at the David A. Howe Library where it will be on display during regular library hours throughout the month. Although Tracy Hetzel will not be at the hanging, she hopes to make it to Wellsville to see it at the library later this month. The exhibit, dubbed “Camouflage” was previously on display at the Hinkle Library on the campus of Alfred State College in November." Kathryn Ross, Wellsville Daily Reporter

MANY THANKS TO THE LOCAL ARTISTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR ANNUAL BOFA ART SHOW AT THE BELFAST PUBLIC LIBRARY IN AUGUST.
"We had 76 artists this year, 9 adults and 67 BCS students who published in "A Handful of Stars", Vol 6, an art and literary magazine published every year by the students of BCS. I have only included pictures of 8 of the adults. The book may be seen at the Library--it is included in the collection." ~Kathy
